Yes, the AllTest Covid-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kit (Oral Fluid) is registered and approved as Recommended For Use by Medical Device Authority (MDA), the medical device division under Ministry of Health Malaysia.
You should report the result of your self test at MySejahtera home page > Helpdesk > Start > Select G [I want to update my COVID-19 Self Test Report].
Positive Result
If you see two lines at C and T , it shows a positive result. The lines can be distinct or faint. You are tested Covid-19 positive. RT-PCR test is required for a confirmation of a Covid-19 case. You are advised to seek medical attention immediately even though you might have no symptoms.
Negative Result
If you see one red line at C, and no line at T, it is a negative result.
You probably do not have Covid-19 infection. However, there may be a chance of a False Negative result. You are advised to continue monitoring for symptoms if you suspect you might be exposed to the virus. RT-PCR test will be required for a confirmation of a Covid-19 case.
False negative results happen if:
- The concentration of antigen in a specimen is below the detection limit of the test.
- The specimen was not collected properly.
Invalid Result
If there is no line at C at all, it is an invalid result. The test did not work. You will need to do another test with a new test kit.
